The NHL VIGA Series atomization system utilizes closely coupled fine atomization technology developed by Navector Laboratory, with independent intellectual property rights. It enables the production of micron-sized spherical metal powder particles through rapid cooling at rates between 105-106 K/S.

    Working Principle

The metal is first melted in a heating furnace and then transferred to a holding furnace. It is atomized into spherical powder by high-pressure protective airflow, which passes through a specialized guide nozzle to ensure fine atomization. The cooling process forms uniform, spherical metal powders.

This system is specifically designed for batch production ranging from 1 to 500 kg of micron-sized spherical powders, including stainless steel, copper alloys, aluminum-based alloys, and high-temperature alloys. The produced powder features low oxygen content, uniform particle distribution, and fine granularity. It is highly spherical, and the production process ensures safety, environmental protection, and energy efficiency.

The system features a modular design, allowing for the addition of various optional modules, including high temperature and high pressure configurations, to accommodate the research & development and production of a wide range of alloy powders across different scales.
